This is going to be short because I have very little to write about. All I did yesterday and today is work. Then again that’s what my weekdays are like. Maybe tomorrow I’ll have something more interesting to write about.

Today was a really boring day for the most part. I was supposed to see Torri today but it decided to storm out all day so the plans were cancelled. One day this week maybe we can finally hang out, but who knows. In the afternoon I hung out with Dave, went to the mall, had dinner at Red Lobsters. I had coconut shrimp, one of my favorites.

After coming home, I decided to try and finally beat Rock Band on expert guitar. Only one song was standing in my way: Green Grass and High Tides. Did a few practice rounds on the difficult parts, felt I had it down pat. Started playing the song for real, was feeling good, nailing everything great…then something happened. I don’t know exactly what, but I lost it. I was missing notes left and right, and failed with only 5% of the song remaining. I went ballistic and threw my guitar into the wall. I should have taken a pic of it, it’s kinda funny after the fact to see a guitar sticking out of a wall by its neck.

Determined not to be brought down by a song I KNOW I can dominate, I start again, no practice rounds at all. I’m going through the song, putting my all into it. All of a sudden, next thing I know, the song is over. I finally beat it. It took me so long but I finally did it. That will be the LAST time I ever play that song under my own will.

FINALLY BEATEN!!!!!

FINALLY BEATEN!!!!!

The rest of the night will be spent watching the finale of The Next Food Network Star, then sleep.

As the title says, this is the first blog I’ve ever done…ever. I’ve never really understood the reason for having one, but I figured I might as well give it a try, see how I like it.

I was thinking about doing a sort of satirical type of blog, as I had done a series of articles to that effect many years back in tandem with my cousin, but lack of ideas forced me to scrap that idea. So I figured I’d just use this as sort of a daily log of what my day was like, anything exciting that happened, things like that.

I volunteered to work at the Landing branch today to get some extra money, because I think making $90 for only 3 hours of work is a good deal. Just like I expected, I didn’t do a thing the whole time. Literally. I spent the time researching cases for my iPhone 3G, chatting on AIM (Karri: If you ever read this, ignore this part), and listening to music on my 3G. I’m glad to be done with Landing, most people there are huge pains in the ass. This coming week I’ll be in Chester, and I have heard really nice things about everyone there so I’m looking forward to it.

After work ended at 12, I went to the Apple Store in Rockaway and picked up a Contour iSee case. It’s a see-through type of case, which was the only kind I wanted. I bought the white 16GB version of the 3G, and the whole reason I did was to show off the white, not to have it hidden behind a case. So far I love it. Protects the phone very well, fits very snug, feels great in the hand while also being very light. I recommend anyone who has or is thinking of getting a 3G to get this case if they want to show off their phone while keeping it protected. Ok I’m done advertising for now.

Ok NOW I’m done advertising.

I had planned to hang out with Torri today, do some mini-golfing, maybe something else, but the weather said it was going to rain and storm so I postponed until tomorrow. Of course it still looks really nice out so I’m glad meteorologists and radar are 100% accurate all the time. Oh well, tomorrow it is.

I’m sure I’ll be spending my night playing Rock Band/GTA IV, texting people, and/or watching some TV. If I think of anything else worth adding to this I will.
